With Street ART, we bring art directly to the construction site. Amid ongoing construction activity, creative spaces emerge that enrich everyday working life and create new perspectives for employees and the public alike.
International and local artists create large-scale works directly on site, making art immediately accessible and tangible. These works are not tied to a single location: after a project is completed, they are reused and presented at new sites.
Tinta del Rio – U2 Neubaugasse
The launch of Street ART featured Colombian artist Tinta del Rio at the U2 construction site in Neubaugasse, Vienna. Known for her distinctive visual language, she created three large-scale panels for Mariahilfer Straße. Her colourful mural combines urban elements with the diverse landscapes of Colombia, bringing a touch of tropical nature into the heart of the construction environment.
