ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

"The fire is gifted with reason"
Heraclitus

In Höller's work, the desire for imaginative generalizations and knowledge is symbolized, to process systemic breaks through the arbitrary introduction of “modes”. The approach to creating typographical realities is diametrically opposed to the bibliophile character of the works. A calculation that can be associatively understood in the key work of the “Wittgenstein Generator”. Typeface, as a universal in Holler's cosmology, is only the ideocratic part of an equation. In his two-sided formal language, Höller creates an idiosyncrasy with abstract playfulness that pursues the striving for a difference - for something relevant, and tries to construct a uniqueness through it.
The principle of order and organization of Höller's adaptation is the CUT UP method. An integral part of the work is also the transformation of knowledge, in the recombination of creation of successful contingency. This relates to the realization of tangible and tangible connections of what we generally believe to experience as archived, annotated and syndicalized knowledge. Selection and arrangement concentrates on informed data worlds whose incompleteness and fragmentarism fuel an aggreat of reinterpretations of the ecology of the mind. Works that are not shocked by the canon of ordered semantics and that translate the love of wisdom in a haunting way into what we call reality.
