Image and writing are closely related in Ralf Ziervogel's work. Texts of tiny size, difficult to decipher, in which the artist mixes experiences and comments in a way that concerns us as viewers. In terms of form and content, they are balancing acts in which painting and drawing, structure and form, discretion and urgency find a unity. You can't actually write about the works, because as soon as you read what is written there is no reason to approach the works from the outside, because from the inside they tell straight forward.
