ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Nadim Vardag was born in Regensburg (DE) in 1980 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In recent years he has participated in artist-in-residence programs in New York City, Brussels and Los Angeles. Previous solo presentations include exhibitions at Projektraum Wiels, Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, Kunstverein Medienturm Graz and Georg Kargl Fine Arts. Nadim Vardag is a recognition award winner of the STRABAG Artaward International 2016. His multi-layered artistic work includes drawings, installations and sculptures, as well as cinematic works. At his exhibition in the STRABAG Artlounge, the artist will exclusively show new works from 2016, which specifically refer to the spatial situation of the exhibition space.
