The slash indicates that words, numbers and the like belong together - or shapes and thoughts. Two // result in the minimum unit of the hatching, the hatching forms areas. Country / sight / sign.

The slash reflects a relationship, a connection. He specifies and structures and hierarchizes; it is like the rain falling through the sky, it is the oil-scratched sky itself and becomes a landscape in which it simultaneously separates one step from the next, it is necessary / the necessity of this chain. It demands a change of perspective, or better: an expansion of perspective. And belonging together is the non-separation of something that is not one; just because something is not directly connected spatially or semantically does not mean that it is separated. Sight / sign / land, ... / ... / ..., sign / land / sight, the perception is permuted by way and time. ... / ... / ... asks the question: what determines what?

In this exhibition Iulia Nistor juxtaposes three work complexes, which are interwoven through content-related, formal and conceptual interfaces and complement each other through their peculiarities and the contrasts that they form with one another to form an overall picture.
